Brian Cherry is the Global Director of Information Security at Diebold Nixdorf, where he oversees the implementation and management of security controls for the organization’s global information security program. With a focus on safeguarding information assets and mitigating risks. Brian leads efforts to enhance governance and risk management, advance security education and awareness, and transform the company’s identity and access management strategies. He has been with Diebold Nixdorf since 2022.

Before joining Diebold Nixdorf, Brian served as Director of Information Security at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, where he successfully transformed the Governance, Risk, and Compliance teams to be more agile and business focused.

Mr. Cherry is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), Brian holds several prestigious certifications, including CISSP, CISA, CISM, and CRISC.

He is a proud graduate of the University of West Florida and brings extensive expertise and leadership to the evolving landscape of information security.
